We will still give You real and original, but yet contemporary classic rock, with a genuine taste of the 70’s and 80’s.
Or to quote Andrew J McNeice review at Melodicrock.com; “This must be the most overdue record release ever, but there’s nothing old about it”. And reading the ratings, it’s clear that he likes what he hears.

Mainly driven by the guitarist Martin Kronlund , they started writing their own material, taking inspiration from some of the best bands of the time. The music is their own, but the influences from great bands like Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, Rainbow and Scorpions are clear to see in their songs.

Besides of Martin Kronlund on guitars and backing vocals, and David Reece on lead vocals, the band also features Mats Bostedt on bass, Rikard Quist on keyboard and backing vocals and Imre Daun on drums and backing vocals. Imre’s great drumming is no coincidence; it’s developed over the years from playing with bands like Snowstorm and Don Patrol. Martin Kronlund is also an experienced musician and has already two record releases with his former project Dogface in the record stores’ heavy metal shelves. Just like with the Gypsy Rose album, he has also mixed and produced the former Dogface albums.

So listen out on some of the samples, or go and get the Gypsy Rose album, lay back and enjoy the trip back to the times when rock was at its best!

Thanks for visiting the Gypsy Rose homepage and we hope You like it. It will be continuously updated and upgraded, as soon as we get some more time. For the next update we might have some gig dates fixed for a short tour in the UK in the beginning of next year, so look out!

Welcome back!

Rock greetings from Gypsy Rose
